For a solid twelve years Jennifer pioneered the Canadian birth territory and focused her attention on supporting birth as a transformative process.  Her experience includes: traditional and quantum midwifery studies, two midwifery apprenticeships, numerous workshops and trainings, and a doula and childbirth educator business.

Jennifer held the position of vice president for MCAN, a maternity advocacy group in AB, and co-authored a public report that opened the conversation with the AB Health Minister.  She has been published in Midwifery Today; Squat Journal; Birth Issues; Birthing; Rebelle Society; and The Vue. Jennifer has since shifted her focus slightly and has spent the past five years unravelling the mystery of personal healing.  She views birth and healing through the same lens – it is a process that is innate to all humans. Jennifer is currently completing her Masters in Counselling Psychology (completion date fall 2016), and is specializing in healing birth trauma as a Certified Trauma Recovery Counsellor (CTRC).  Most importantly, she is a devoted mother to three amazing humans and is supported by her loving partner.
