| This portion of The Matrona's website is dedicated to our unique and outstanding Holistic Midwifery Immersion Program. At The Matrona, we understand that birth is a transformative experience. We believe that birth should be returned to the family, and we understand that traditional and holistic birth caregivers facilitate the return of normal birth. Our curriculum is based on the balance of the intuitive with the practical, the academic with the spiritual, in such a way as to develop a complete repertory of skills to facilitate the birthing family.
