| Southeast Women's Herbal Conference September 28-30, 2007 On the Autumn Equinox weekend in September, Whapio will be a speaker at the 3rd Annual Southeast Women's Herbal Conference in Hendersonville, NC. Rosemary Gladstar, Luisah Tish and many other wonderful and powerful women will also be there. Whapio will be offering three presentations during the Conference: Homeopathy for Kids, Women’s Mysteries: Our Genetic Potential and an open forum discussion on Mothering in Modern Times (How to Stay Sane.) We look forward to seeing you there! Women's' Mysteries: Our Genetic Potential High school biology did not reveal everything about our genetic potential. Were you aware that women have within them, at all times, the complete component of genetic material to create life? This is a fascinating lecture... all fact and no fiction..and speaks to our responsibilities and power as the Ancestral Sex. Homeopathy for Kids Let's take a peek. We'll learn our Homeopathic ABCs...that's Aconite, Belladonna and Chamomilla. Every parent would be well served by these three remedies for any number of children's ailments. We'll also learn the four major constitutional types that young children favor. We'll engage in a bit of Homeopathic Theater, and by the time we're finished, we'll know 15 polycrest children's remedies and how to use them. Handouts provided. Mothering in Modern Times: How to Stay Sane Are you screaming at your kids so they'll leave you alone so you can read this new parenting book on how to be a better mother...or was that just me? Is there such a thing as Divine Mothering? Intuitive Mothering? Mothering in modern times means more choices, more stresses and more books. Let's sift through it all and figure out, not what's right or what's wrong, but what's real. Bring your stories, your wisdom and, of course, your booklist!
