| Whapio Diane Bartlett, Traditional Midwife and Educator Whapio has attended women in birth for 25 years. She currently directs the Holistic Midwifery Immersion Program and the Holistic Doula Training Program at The Matrona, as well as The Matrona's traveling programs and Matrona Journeys. Whapio also teaches homeopathy and is affiliated with HANA (Hahnemann Academy of North America). She has studied homeopathy and Qigong with Robin Murphy, ND, for over 15 years. She also studied healing at The Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and at the Beijing Massage Hospital in China. In addition, Whapio is a mediator and counselor for family concerns. She is currently 'on tour' with Matrona programs. |
| Eileen Sullivan, Childbirth Educator and Doula Eileen has been a childbirth educator and doula since 1987, and has mentored new CBEs and doulas for the past 20 years. She was originally trained as a doula by a Traditional Midwife, and has received additional training through Doulas of North America (DONA) and through the revolutionary and widely acclaimed Birthing From Within method. Eileen is a retired La Leche League leader, and has also been active with the International Cesarean Awareness Network (ICAN). She served as the NC state representative for CAPPA (Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association) for 4 years. Eileen is also a certified Reiki Master and an EFT practitioner.
